One of my guilty pleasures is watching a plumber from Australia clear blocked drains on YouTube.
At the end of every video, he thanks the “Drain Cleaning Australia family.”
Simple. Genuine. Repeated.
It reminded me of something I do every day. At the end of our team stand-up, I say the same thing:
“Thank you. I appreciate you.”
I’ve sometimes wondered whether saying it daily makes it mean less.
I don’t think it does.
Consistent appreciation doesn’t lose its meaning. It compounds.
