Thank you. I appreciate you.

One of my guilty pleasures is watching a plumber from Australia clear blocked drains on YouTube.

At the end of every video, he thanks the “Drain Cleaning Australia family.”

Simple. Genuine. Repeated.

It reminded me of something I do every day. At the end of our team stand-up, I say the same thing:

“Thank you. I appreciate you.”

I’ve sometimes wondered whether saying it daily makes it mean less.

I don’t think it does.

Consistent appreciation doesn’t lose its meaning. It compounds.
